Industrial Silencers

Industrial silencers attenuate the noise levels from machinery and other sources. There are three basic design of Silencers.

Absorptive: silencers include sound damping materials to absorb the noise energy from the flow of gas or air.

Reactive: silencers use chambers to attenuate the noise.

Tuned dissipative: Silencers are constructed to form tuned cavities based on Helmholtz Resonator principle to attenuate unwanted sound.

Hybrid: designs use both absorptive and reactive design elements, combining airflow path management and acoustical materials to reduce noise.
